【Notice for customers】
1.When you arrive at Hokkokugama, plese sterilize your fingers and keep your facial mask while you stay in the facility.
2.In some circumstances, we may limit the numbers of people to enter the facility.
3.If you have classical symptoms of a cold, please refrain from visiting our facility.
4.It takes 2 months when the pottery items arrive you. Sorry for this inconvenience.
5.All staff always wear facial masks to avoid infection.
6.We do sterilize our facility and also ventilate frequently.
7.Staff do wash and sterilize their hands and gargle on a regular basis.

This was my first time to make pottery. I challenged electrically-powered potter’s wheel. Instructors were kind and helping me a lot so that I enjoyed making pottery a lot. I am lokking forward to seeing my pottery items. I want to do it again. Thank you for a great time.
I wanted to try pottery making for a long. My children, 16 year-old girl and 14 year-old boy, were very good at making pottery, but I was not good at it. We were so into it and forgot about a time. My wife and another daughter of mine enjoyed looking at us struggling with clay. We also enjoyed walking around Nagahama city. Next time, I will challenge to make 3 items at once.
I have visited Nagahama several times and I tried glassblowing at Kurokabe. Although I have experienced pottery making with hand-powered potter’s wheel before, this was my first time with electrically-powered one. Instructors taught me how to make kindly, so I could make a good pottery. I am looking forward to it. I made tea bowl and my husband made drinking cup. Both of us enjoyed the time together.

If you want to enjoy pottery making quickly, ceramic painting may be a good choice. You can draw pictures on a tea cup, a rice bowl and a dish. It takes 30-60min.

You can make 4 pottery items for your wedding gift. Each of you makes 2 items for your parents.
Even if you are a beginner, don’t worry. Our instructors help you to make a special wedding gift. If you don’t have enough time before your wedding, let us know. We try to meet your needs as much as we can.

The price above is for a person. No one can share the plan.
Delivery time for pottery making is about a month and a half to 2 months.
Delivery time for ceramic painting is about a month. If you are in a hurry, please let us know.
Attendant seating charge is 300yen (+tax) if you don’t make pottery but want to keep a seat for yourself.
